Near Field Communication (NFC) technology aims to introduce more flexibility and convenience in our lives by making the exchange of digital data connections between electronic devices, and transactions much easier. NFC technology finds application particularly in mobile phones, which work by identifying the NFC tag (integrated card) to another device that is in close distance (40-10 cm), which leads to the exchange of data between the two. Near Field Communication technology is actually an evolution of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology for contactless payment systems.
NFC technology also is believed to be very similar to Bluetooth technology, except that it requires only two mobile devices in the immediate vicinity, without any need to determine the pairing of two devices to work together as in the case of Bluetooth.
